RDS Electrical is proud to announce that we are now accreddited by OLEV to claim grants for both the Work Place Charging Scheme (WCS) and the Electric Vehicle Home Charge Scheme (EVHS).
Through the OLEV schemes customers can benefit from a grant towards the cost of installing EV charging points.
What is the Work Place Charging Scheme?
The Work Place Charging Scheme is a voucher-based scheme designed to provide eligible applicants with support towards the upfront costs of the purchase and installation of EV chargepoints. The contribution is limited to the 75% of purchase and installation costs, up to a maximum of £350 for each socket, up to a maximum of 40 across all sites for each applicant.
What is the Electric Vehicle Home Charge Scheme?
The Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme provides a grant for individuals who have taken keepership of a new or second hand eligible electric vehicle on or after 1 October 2016 as long as they have not claimed against the previous chargepoint schemes. The grant is a 75% contribution towards the cost of one chargepoint and its installation up to a maximum of £350 (including VAT) per household/ per eligible vehicle for installations that take place on or after the 1st of April 2020.
